"Smiles for Ukraine" Children's Center nominated for "Golden Apple" awards

The competition for contribution to the lives of children “Golden Apple” enters its decisive stage – voting for the winners is open

We are proud to announce that the Children’s Center “Smiles from Ukraine” has been nominated for the “Golden Apple” awards in the children’s organization category. The contest is organized by the National Children’s Network, and online voting for the winners is now open. Vote for the children’s center “Smiles for Ukraine” and the “Dokova and Dokov for the Future” Foundation.
For the thirteenth year in a row, the National Network for Children organizes the presentation of the authoritative awards for contribution to the well-being of children and families in our country. The goal is to distinguish the institutions and organizations that change the lives of children in a positive direction and to draw public attention to children’s policies by popularizing good examples.
One year after its establishment by the “Dokova and Dokov for the Future” Foundation, the children’s center was recognized as a unique place for the Varna Region and supported by the United Nations Children’s Fund – UNICEF Bulgaria.
The center provides children with activities in a protected environment with the aim of improving their psychological state, developing their emotional intelligence and resilience. Over 40% of children have special educational needs.
