When Art Serves Good

Art as a Bridge to Good

As part of this initiative, the foundation organizes charity events where literature, music, and visual arts come together in support of people battling serious illnesses.

These events create an inspiring environment in which art becomes a means of empathy, hope, and human connection.

They bring together artists, donors, and like-minded individuals, fostering public engagement with meaningful social causes and demonstrating that culture has the power to inspire, unite, and support.

PROJECT GOALS

With the “Art and Kindness” initiative, we focus on several key objectives:

Support for People in Need

Raising funds for cancer patients and teachers facing serious illnesses through meaningful and inspiring events.

Art as a Cause

Demonstrating that literature, music, and visual arts can be more than a source of inspiration – they can serve as a bridge to real change.

Opportunities for Young Talents

Supporting children, athletes, and artists for whom even participating in a competition or purchasing a stage costume can be a challenge.

Building a Community Around a Cause

Bringing together people with open hearts around a shared mission – to give hope to those who need it most.

An Evening Dedicated to Poetry, Music and Goodness

The Foundation “Dokova and Dokov for the Future” organized a special charity event – the presentation of the poetry collection “I Love to Love” by Mariyana Dimitrova. The evening brought together friends, teachers and art lovers to immerse themselves in a world where poetry, music and goodness meet.

Live flute performances filled the atmosphere of Restaurant Villa Mare with tenderness and light. On the initiative of the foundation and Valentina Vladova  a teacher of Bulgarian language and literature – the collection was published with a noble cause: all proceeds from sales were directed toward supporting the treatment of teachers battling oncological diseases.

This was an evening that transcended the boundaries of a literary event – an act of compassion, love and hope. A reminder that where art and goodness meet, light is born.

"Gizdava" — A Concert-Spectacle with a Cause

Desi Dobreva is more than an exceptional singer – her voice carries light and touches people wherever it sounds. With the concert-spectacle “Gizdava”, supported by leading names on the Bulgarian stage, she took another step forward not simply performing, but giving a chance.

The initiative was entirely charitable and non-commercial for the project team. The mission was to provide a stage and real support for young talents: children, athletes, clubs and ensembles who dream, but need support children for whom even participating in a competition or purchasing a stage costume is a challenge.

The Foundation “Dokova and Dokov for the Future” stood behind this cause not only financially, but with its soul. The concert was not simply music, it was magic, hope, faith and love.

The true power of talent lies in its sharing. And every child given a chance can shine.

Charity Evening in Varna

The Foundation “Dokova and Dokov for the Future” organized a charity evening in support of people battling oncological diseases. In the warm atmosphere of Piano Bar “Sinatra,” an inspiring event took place that brought together nearly 90 guests, united by the desire to help.

The evening was centered around the presentation of the book “The Reflection Beyond the Mirror” by Pavlina Stoyanova — a book about inner depletion and the quiet journey back to oneself.

The program was enriched by a poetry reading by Andriana Andreeva, whose words moved the audience with their sincerity and depth. Guests also had the opportunity to enjoy paintings from the personal exhibition of Valentina Vladova, which added a further layer of atmosphere and turned the evening into a true celebration of art.

The €2,300 raised were donated in support of cancer patients. Because every good deed begins with one small step… and one open heart.

Evenings filled with meaning, compassion and humanity are proof that together we can make a real difference.
