Workshop "Inclusive education and support of individual needs of children in kindergarten".

On 27.10.2023, at the initiative of the “Dokova and Dokov for the Future” Foundation and UNICEF Bulgaria, a workshop “Inclusive education and support of individual needs of children in kindergarten” was held at the Center for Child Development “Usmivki”.

The lecturer Nadezhda Ivanova – child-adolescent psychologist and consultant “Education and care in early childhood” presented the topic to all present by creating many topics of conversation, touched on important and interesting facts, as well as many examples from life and how to deal with them.

Here are the topics that were touched upon and discussed in detail:

• Inclusive education. Principles of inclusion
• Children’s rights in their early childhood development, including children with special educational needs and/or from a migrant background
• Opportunities to provide general and additional support in the educational system in Bulgaria.
