Ruzha Doncheva
Program Director
Ruzha Doncheva is a certified mediator and a Master of Laws with specialization in corporate, maritime and commercial law. Volunteer work has been her cause for more than 10 years – she has been involved in various projects to support the Bessarabian Bulgarians, in 2014 she was part of the Port of Varna team to clean up the aftermath of the devastating flooding of the quarter of Varna. The flood of Asparuhovo in the town of Varna was a disaster relief measure. After the beginning of the hostilities in Ukraine and since the opening of the Refugee Centre in Varna, she has been working as a trainer for the refugee community in Varna. Since the opening of the Ukrainian Refugee Center in Varna in March 2022, he has been actively involved in the organization of corporate humanitarian aid for Ukrainian refugees.
She joined the “Dokova and Dokov Foundation for the Future” in the spring of 2022 as the Chief Coordinator of the Children’s Center “Smiles for Ukraine”, and then as the Program Director of the Foundation and Director of the Center for Child Development USMIVKI.
Her energy for the Foundation’s causes is contagious and her perfectionism uncompromising. She believes that everything is achievable with hard work and perseverance. Her personal cause is innovative early childhood development and education, as well as providing real access to inclusive education and conditions for every child’s development.
She shares the motto that people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world are the ones who do. That’s why Ruja spares no time or effort, but acts – courageously and organized – to make even the most audacious dreams of justice and a brighter future come true together with the Foundation, because for us, happiness is about giving
