On October 16, 2025, the Dokova and Dokov for the Future Foundation organized a special charity event – the presentation of the poetry book “I Love to Love” by Mariyana Dimitrova.
The evening brought together friends, teachers, and art enthusiasts to immerse themselves in a world where poetry, music, and kindness meet and complement one another.
Live flute performances added even more tenderness and light to the warm atmosphere of Villa Mare Restaurant, the gracious host of the event.
At the initiative of the Foundation and Valentina Vladova – a Bulgarian language and literature teacher – the poetry book was published with a noble cause: all proceeds from its sales will go toward supporting the treatment of teachers battling cancer.
It was an evening that transcended the boundaries of a literary event – an act of compassion, love, and hope. A reminder that when art and kindness meet, light is born.
About the Author
Mariyana Dimitrova was born on October 28, 1981, in Balchik – the town where the sea meets the sky.
She graduated from Nikolai Liliev High School in Varna and later earned a degree in psychology from St. Cyril and St. Methodius University of Veliko Tarnovo.
In her poetry, Mariyana weaves together human tenderness, the deep layers of the soul, and the light of everyday life, turning emotion into quiet revelation.
Her poetry is sincere, luminous, and profoundly human – an invitation to feel, reflect, and connect.
About the Book
“I am not afraid of you, life,
you cannot trample this faith.
I have strength even after this downfall,
and like a phoenix, I shall rise again, alive.”
Thus begins the poetic world of Mariyana Dimitrova – a world where vulnerability and hope walk hand in hand.
Each poem is a gentle whisper of the soul, overflowing with light, warmth, and strength.
In this collection, the sea meets the sky, and the human heart finds its purest essence.
This is a book for those who have loved, suffered, believed – and, despite everything, kept moving forward.
“I Love to Love” is more than poetry. It is a bridge between art and kindness.
Published as part of a charity initiative organized by the Dokova and Dokov for the Future Foundation, the book carries a radiant mission – all proceeds from sales are donated to support teachers undergoing cancer treatment.
By purchasing this book, you are not simply holding poetry in your hands – you are offering a ray of hope.
