Andrea Kotsinova with a silver medal at the Youth Olympic Festival

Young Bulgarian athletes Andrea Kotsinova and Tervel Zamfirov became vice-champions in the team giant slalom snowboarding at the Winter Olympic Festival in Friuli-Venezia Giulia, Italy.
Already in their first start of the day, our team managed to beat the Czech team in the round of 16 by 1.21 seconds. Then, in the semi-final, they eliminated the extremely strong Italian tandem by 0.57 seconds. and triumphed over Ukraine by 1.21 sec.
