Andrea Kotsinova - participant of the Olympic festival in Italy

“Our girl” Andrea Kocinova will take part in the 16th Winter European Youth Olympic Festival Friuli-Venezia Giulia 2023, which will take place from January 21 to 28 in Italy.

Bulgaria will be represented by 24 young athletes (12 girls and 12 boys) in the following sports and disciplines: alpine skiing, biathlon, cross-country skiing, snowboarding, figure skating and short track.

Andrea will participate in two alpine disciplines – snowboarding and bordercross and will have a total of 4 starts – Parallel Giant Slalom, Team Parallel Giant Slalom, Bordercross and Team Bordercross.

Earlier this month, the BOC Executive Bureau confirmed the composition of the delegation, which will be led by Belcho Goranov, Secretary General of the BOC and which includes Andrea’s coach, Viktor Zhekov.

The “Dokova and Dokov for the Future” Foundation supports the young athlete by providing full funding for sports equipment, training costs, camps and preparation for competitive events in the country and abroad.
