Dokova and Dokov Foundation for the Future donated 50 000 euros for the purchase of a new generator for the Zograf Monastery in Mount Athos
The “Dokova and Dokov for the Future” Foundation made a significant donation of 50 000 euros to the Zograf Monastery in Mount Athos, which will be used to purchase a new power generator. The existing generators at the monastery are outdated, underpowered and do not provide the necessary quality of electricity for the monastery. The new equipment will meet the growing energy needs of the monastery by providing stability, efficiency and synchronous operation with other power sources.
Sufficient power and quality of energy will ensure the normal life and work of the monastic brotherhood, as well as the smooth running of necessary repairs and restoration works on the monastery buildings.
The founder of the foundation, Vladimir Dokov, is personally involved in the initiative and is strongly committed to providing the necessary support for the monastery, realizing the importance of reliable power supply for its functioning and development.
The Dokova and Dokov Foundation for the Future is a public benefit organization that supports various initiatives in the field of education, cultural heritage and social support.

Zografski Monastery is one of the oldest and most important Bulgarian spiritual centres, founded in the 10th century. Located in the Holy Forest, it has played a key role in the preservation of Bulgarian spirituality, literature and cultural heritage throughout the centuries.
